So I had a very interesting convo with a friend of mine last night she shall remain nameless. We were talking about how small our state is and how you run the risk of dating people who know each other .(I would never have this issue because I don't date men in Boston and I haven't for a while.) Anywho my friend proceeds to say she would just rather mess with the hoe dude she is already dealing with rather than to have to date someone and realize he's a cheating ass months later! So you mean to tell me your gonna stay with a nothing ass dude because you already know he's a dog? And potientally bypass someone who is healthy for you out of comfort of knowing what you already got! Needless to say by the end of this convo my jaw is on the ground and I felt like I was on a different planet or an outsider looking in! I try not to judge other folks love life cause mine is no where near perfect, but come on when you say outlandish shit like this I think I am entitled to pose my opinion!
Do women really think like this??? Do you really feel like you have to settle to be happy or content? I personally could never accept that a man is going to cheat and I am going to stay or accept it.Dont get me wrong I when I was younger I stayed in a sitiuation that I knew was wrong for me but with age comes wisdom! I would rather be alone than miserable any day!
Lord I am praying for these chicks cause some women got the game twisted at 25 +! How did things ever get this bad? When did some women give men this much power to brainwash them??? I would love to hear your opinion on this cause I am baffled and confused!

Love yourself first - From Essence.com
It seems as if every media blog, story or television show is fueled by rumors versus the truth and the need to search and destroy character instead of realizing what's good in folks' lives. As a result, too many of us are more focused on other peoples business and not dealing with our own.
As we move into a new year, we have a new opportunity to reflect upon our life by examining how our own behavior, attitudes and beliefs either served us or have set us up in this past year. We have the choice to filter the external nonsense or noise, eliminate deadweights who hold us down by their negativity, or realize our own power to choose joy or happiness.
How you ask? Well, first, find a quiet space and give yourself an hour. Grab a pen and paper. Write down every thing that is good in your life, what you have learned about yourself in the past year and three strengths that you have. When you are finished, put the paper in a visible place where you can see it. As the year progresses, add or subtract to your "ALL ABOUT YOU" list.
Here are some thoughts to get you started
1) You are the most important person in your life. Act that way. Treat yourself with respect and caring.
2) Lose the guilt.
3) Invest in your physical health. Try to exercise on a regular basis, cut back or eliminate unhealthy behaviors. Feel good from the inside out.
4) Let go of the toxic, negative people in your life. Now!!
5) Embrace your worthiness. What has been done to you does not define who you are.
6) Forgive yourself first. Forgiving does not mean forgetting, but it really is okay to let things go. Some folks hold onto to pain, because they don't want to be hurt again and it doesn't help.
7) Keep your heart open. Search for and acknowledge good people, joyful experiences and positivity by staying in the moment, being self- aware and always being thankful.
Life is complicated. Our attitudes and level of self-worth does not have to be.
Focus on what's good within you. Love is there in full abundance.

Following My Heart
So many of my friends and associates know that tomorrow I am going to NJ to visit my past love/ lover (LOL)! I am hoping for the best, but expecting the worst. I am a little amazed that this man still can have this type affect on me. I am not sure if that is a good or bad thing that I still feel like this about him. I know a two things I never stopped loving him and I am happy he reached out! Now I am a little leery of men who leave you and want to come back. But you cant help what the heart wants! All I asking for is well wishes and prayers that this all works out well :) I will keep you posted! The closer I get to tomorrow I get more and more anxious/nervous! YIKES

January horoscope :) I like it!
While everyone, of every sign, will feel the testing qualities of the eclipses, you seem to be in a better position than most, for both eclipses will be supportive to your Taurus sun. This is no small advantage. A great many planets will be stacked in Capricorn too, and those act as loving little relatives who want to see you get your best options and are protected.
The first eclipse falls on December 31 in the USA, but in other parts of the world, say, Japan or Australia, it will fall a day later, on January 1. This eclipse will fall in your short distance travel sector. Hopefully, if you do go to a party in a nearby town, you will stay in that city overnight, as holidays that hold eclipses are particularly unstable and create arguments and road rage that produce difficult if not dangerous conditions. People drink on these holidays and have impossibly high expectations for a "night of nights," making this night highly emotional anyway. Add an eclipse and you have quite a loaded box of dynamite. All lunar eclipses are like three full moons rolled into one, and this one, in Cancer, will be particularly strong. This eclipse falls on Alhena, a fixed star, at 10 degrees Cancer, not considered ideal for travel, so take it slow and stay in the town you are heading toward.
This same eclipse may bring you a number of documents to sign, but in this case, I would rather you not sign, for Mercury will continue to retrograde until January 15. Be smart and wait a few days beyond this date because on the very day Mercury goes direct, it fills the day with confusing static. Wait until January 18 or 19 to be safe.
Your sister, brother, or cousin may be the subject of enormous news as you begin the New Year, so keep your cell phone powered up. As a matter of fact, be sure not to lose your cell phone - tape your business card on the back of your smart phone. Yes, you may have high tech methods of telling the person who finds it that it is yours, but if a low-tech person finds your phone, they won't even know how to turn it on. Make it easy to find you and write REWARD in big letters on your business card! I plaster my name over everything here in my native city of New York City and have been fortunate to get back all my items that I have forgotten in taxis.
Anyway, with an eclipse falling in your third house, your sibling or cousin may have big news, and you won't want to miss it.
The next eclipse, a solar eclipse on January 15 in Capricorn, will open your horizons and may have you traveling quite far to foreign countries. This is a lovely moment, meant to open your perspective and see life on a much broader scale. If you don't travel, you will study, work on a grant, do research, or become involved with an important publishing or broadcasting project. There will be a stellium of planets in Capricorn - or "crown of stars" - stacked in your lofty ninth house, all grouped in the friendly-to-Taurus sign of Capricorn.
The ninth house is where we feel a sense of adventure and delve into new areas in an enthusiastic way. It is the house where we study philosophy and/or religion. It is also where we meditate a bit about why we were set on this Earth and how we can direct our energies to best fulfill our destiny. You may find you enter a very thoughtful, reflective mode, where new thoughts begin to occur to you as quick flashes of insight that may later change your course. Whatever you decide to do, as a result of news or options that come up in the days or weeks that follow January 15, will work to benefit you - even if you aren't sure about that initially, when events begin to happen.
If you are in college and want to change institutions or in high school and trying to choose the right one for you, you would have an excellent opportunity to find one right for you after the January 15 eclipse arrives. Investigate by collecting brochures and scheduling interviews on campuses.
You may be thinking about initiating a law case in mid-January. Sometimes suits come up when there is a great deal of planetary activity in the ninth house, as you will have after the solar eclipse January 15. In this case, it seems you would be the one more likely to bring the suit, not the other way around, but this is not absolutely clear from where I sit, so I can't be quite sure about that. I do know this eclipse will be quite favorable to you, as you will have five planets supporting you in Capricorn, so "the force" should be with you.
Having said that, eclipses do bring a few twists and turns too that nobody expects. Stay on your toes and be ready to respond if necessary. As a rule, it is always best NOT to INITIATE at an eclipse time, but it is better to RESPOND. If you are about to initiate a lawsuit, wait at least a week beyond the January 15 eclipse. This advice would be true for just about any endeavor. Be the one to respond, not initiate, on an eclipse.
In terms of your career, you will do very well next month - it will be one of your key months of all of 2010 - but you will begin to create a buzz about your work from the day Venus, your ruler, enters your tenth house of fame and honors on January 18, continuing until February 10. You will be the golden one, the one that all the VIPs favor, and next month your reputation will grow.
Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, will be in his final days of a rare visit to your tenth house of career fame and honors this month. If you feel you would like to present an idea to someone, schedule lunch or a casual meeting over drinks. Or, tweak a business plan to make it more attractive to investors, and present it again, but do it prior to January 17 for best luck.
After January 17, you can nurture your project and make it grow. The projects that will flourish the most will be those that you seeded in 2009 or in the first two weeks of 2010. Mercury will be retrograde from January 1 to 15, a condition that started December 26. This suggests that you need to go back to people you already saw or knew from your past, or that you need to refine your idea to conform to the feedback you already received. If you did redo your plan, you will be ready to roll.
Mars is still retrograde too, a holdover from December 20, and that will continue until March 10. If you had planned to redo your kitchen or bath, you've probably had to put things on hold for a while. If you had tried to sell your house, or buy one, you probably encountered problems. The problems you are facing seem to be complex and not easily solved. When it comes to home, property, and family-related decisions, actions, and progress, expect delays.
A delay does not mean "never," dear Taurus. The discussions that come up about these home, property, and family matters near the full moon, January 30, may be fierce in their intensity. You may not agree with your partner, family, buyer, seller, tenant or roommate, decorator, broker, contractor - whomever it is, this person could make you upset. Still, the full moon January 30 plus or minus four days will produce a result - see what happens. You may feel relief to finally decide this phase of the endeavor. The Taurus who seem a little frustrated at this full moon over this home matter are those born April 30, plus or minus five days.
It won't be the end of it though, for Taurus of any birthday. When Mars awakes up and moves through Leo from March 10 to June 7, you will make far better home-related progress, the best so far. So don't let anything worry you at month's end - you'll soon get a second chance to set things right!
Romance will be squeezed in a very hectic month. Your very best period, when your allure will reach new heights, will occur from January 1-18. Traveling with the one you love will be a wonderful way to jumpstart a relationship that has become too predictable. Your favorite time for a little R&R would be from January 15 to 18. Plan to be home at month's end, however, for as said, the full moon January 30 will bring closure to a very important home-related topic.
There is one day that stands out brightly, January 12, when Venus will be in perfect angle to Uranus. It's a wow of a day, sparkling with happy coincidences. The moon will cooperate too, by being in Capricorn, a fellow earth sign like yours. Surprises and happy experiences will abound.
Romance will be hottest on January 8, 9, 12-14, 18, and 23-24.
I have saved the best for last. Jupiter, the great benefactor, will move into Pisces for the first time since 1998-early 1999. In Pisces, Jupiter will be in a better position to help you, for Pisces is a water sign that blends beautifully with your earth sign element.
Jupiter will fill your eleventh house of hopes and wishes, the place in the chart where we see the fulfillment of a desire that we have long held dear. It may be material or spiritual ("I want a house of my own," or "I want to find love," or "I want a baby.") Whatever that wish may be, you should take that dream seriously in 2010, for never have you been so close to seeing it realized.
You will also have extraordinary help from your friends in 2010. There is almost nothing you could ask your friends to do for you that they would not grant. Look to friends to provide you with your greatest personal growth in 2010.
You not only will bond more closely with friends in the coming year, but you will make many important new ones, too. It behooves you to mix and mingle more in 2010, and to even consider joining clubs and online communities. Many of the new friends you make in coming months will be with you ten years or more from now. When it comes to career advancement, finding love, or any other goal you may have, look to your friends, for they hold the key to finding success.
Summary
The good news is that you will have quite a bit of travel to look forward to in the New Year, not only in January but also in months ahead. The eclipses that are occurring now will bring unexpected opportunities to pack and go. As you begin January, you may be returning home from a nearby city that you visited to celebrate the arrival of the New Year, thanks to the eclipse in Cancer that fell on December 31.
More important and far more intriguing developments will shape up just after the solar eclipse in Capricorn of January 15. You may soon travel overseas, or you may stay put but work on an international project, interacting with people based in foreign cities by email and phone.
Additionally, offers from the media, in publishing or broadcasting, will sparkle brightly for you. If you hope to go to college or graduate school this semester or later, doors will open for you, too.
If you need to sign a document - and that seems very possible now - wait until a few days after the date Mercury turns direct January 15. If you were born on or close to May 15, you will benefit most from this solar eclipse, but all Taurus will have cheery news to share.
This month may also bring more than usual interaction with your relatives. Specifically, at the start of the month, you may hear unexpected news from your sister, brother, or cousin. Later in January your thoughts may shift to an aunt, uncle, or in-law. (Your parents will not be part of this trend.) The current eclipses will require that you remain unfettered so that you can move quickly to where you'll be needed, so just in case, try not to over pack your schedule.
Fortunately, the eclipses happening this month will help you, for they are falling in signs that blend beautifully with yours. The only drawback this month will be Saturn's position to Pluto, suggesting you will be frustrated by having too few team mates or subordinates available to help you get your job done - and the fact that you will have time pressures will only intensify your frustration. By being organized and changing the way you approach your assignments, you will get projects done, so there is no need to worry. Keep your health strong, for you will be busy all month and could run yourself down.
On January 17, Jupiter will enter your house of friends and groups, your new area of potential growth in months ahead. You will make the acquaintance of many new people now and your present friends will also play a much bigger role in your life. Consider joining a professional or social club now, as the rewards would exceed your expectations.
Jupiter in Pisces will also help you materialize a wish that is dear to your heart in 2010. This could be one of your best years you've seen in the last ten.
At the full moon, January 30, you are due to move or make other important changes at home. The planets will be in a friendly mood, so you'll easily reach home-related goals. Here's your chance to find ways to make your present space more comfortable and stylish. A major family-related event or question may also arise, possibly involving a parent, and may require your undivided attention. Still, with Mars retrograde, things won't always go according to plan. You may disagree with someone with whom you hired to help you with your space, or with a roommate, tenant, landlord, or family member. Or, a property deal may fall through because someone is being too intransigent and inflexible. You will get a second chance to set things right once Mars goes direct in Leo - that will begin March 15 and go through June 7.
Mercury will no longer be retrograde as of January 15, so you can safely launch plans and sign key documents a few days after that. You can also shop for furniture and electronic goods, and be confident that you will find things for your home you will love for a long time.
Taurus Dates to Note
A trip or opportunity abroad may come up quickly on the full moon eclipse January 1.
Your sister, brother, cousin, aunt, or uncle may make headline news in your life: January's first week.
A home or family matter may run into a snag: all month, due to Mars retrograde. Things improve after March 10 when Mars will go direct. Nevertheless you may see a breakthrough with a real estate issue over the full moon January 30 plus or minus four days.
Romance will be hottest on January 8, 9, 12-14, 18, 23-24, and 26.
Venus will send a signal to Uranus, making love burn brightly on January 12.
Very best days for fun and love: January 12 and 26.
A very long trip, possibly overseas, may materialize as a result of the solar eclipse January 15.
You may initiate a lawsuit this month, but if so, wait a week after the eclipse January 15.

Happy New year! I am so excited about 2010. 2009 was a rough year but thank you god I made it thru! 2010 less worrying about what's going to make others happy more of what will make me content. I am hoping that all good things will fall into place for me :)
I am praying for happiness and love for myself and my friends! Again happy new year may 2010 be your best yet!
